Guidance for safe, positive practice

mathnow.co is a free supplemental practice tool. Young learners should use it with support from a parent, guardian, teacher, or tutor.

What learners can practice

Activities cover multiplication tables 0–12 through guided table practice, a full multiplication grid, flashcards, timed play, missing-number questions, matching, and printable worksheets.

Privacy by design

No learner account is required. The site does not ask children to create profiles or submit names, school information, photos, or contact details. Progress and preferences stay in that browser’s local storage.

Using progress indicators

Stars, points, streaks, and levels are designed to encourage practice. Treat them as playful feedback—not grades or a diagnosis of ability. Short, regular sessions and positive encouragement are usually more useful than pressure.

Sound and timed activities

Sound can be muted. Timed activities may not suit every learner; untimed Math Map, Full Grid, Flashcards, and worksheets remain available.

Resetting local progress

The Reset control clears points, stars, streaks, and level progress on the current browser while preserving theme and sound settings. Clearing the browser’s site data removes locally stored information.
